After being spoiled by all the gorgeous Gulf Coast beaches east of the mouth of the Mississippi River (which results in white, dry beautiful sand), I gotta say it: Galveston's beach is pretty lame for a beach.
Of course, being on a lame beach is better than being pretty much anywhere else in the world.
